About Me

My name is Eashwarran Kohilathas and I am a British doctor. I have currently been working for The Lake Clinic (TLC) for 2 weeks now and have approximately another 140 days with them.

This blog will be a personal account of what I see and experience. It will delve into my thoughts.
More than anything, I wish to shed more light onto the poverty and hardships that the Tonle Sap locals experience.

I also wish to expose the wonderful work that TLC have been and will continue to do for these many thousands of people.

Day 1 - 1st March 2019

Waiting to grab a waitresses attention in WonderTree Cafe at Heathrow Airport - that's how my journey begins. Well it actually started nearly three years ago, but we'll get to that later. I feel that my mind is open and so is my heart. I am willing to gain new memories and experiences.

The mind, even though stupendously complex and powerful can never experience an experience before it is experienced. You’ve got to submerge yourself fully.
