The Lake Clinic is the only non-governmental organization
providing access to health services directly to children and adults located
in very remote and underserved regions of the Tonle Sap Lake Area in Cambodia.

 
 

about us

Since 2007, The Lake Clinic (TLC) has provided over 360,000 free health services to the floating communities on the Tonle Sap. The Tonle Sap is the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia and home to some of Cambodia's poorest and most remote villages. Over one million people currently live on and around the lake.

TLC’s clinical staff provide essential services which includes:

Adult and pediatric primary care
Vaccinations
Dental services
Eye care services
Antenatal care
Home care visit for the elderly & disabled
Health education
Health referrals, when necessary

In addition, TLC’s outreach teams offer home care visits to provide programs such as water sanitation and education, floating gardens and nutrition, and care for children at-risk.

our impact

TLC serves nine villages and around 13,000 patients on and around the Tonle Sap.
As the only health services provider, nearly 100% of patients return to TLC after their first visit.
